Daniel Maloney
Owner/Dance Director
Dance Sport USA has been under the management of Daniel Maloney for 25 years. He brings to the sport, 30 years of experience. His school has been ranked number one in the state of Florida for many years. He has worked on the Caribbean line of cruise ships as Dance Director and performer. He has won the Florida State Championships Top Teacher award, seven years consecutively. He has gold medaled in the United States Championships 27 times. His students have won awards too numerous to list in every category.
Catia Maloney
Ballroom Coordinator
Catia Maloney has 25 years of dance experience. She has won the Top Teaching Award in the State of Florida for 6 consecutive years. She has gold medaled in the United States Championships 17 times. She is the mother of seven and brings that love of children to here junior classes. Her students have won championships in every category and level.
Phaedra Mohr
Studio Manager
Phaedra Mohr has been our Ballroom coordinator and studio manager for many years. She is well versed in every aspect of the dance school business from Accounting to Party management. She oversees the day to day bookings of student lessons, develops the calendar agendas and is in charge of Ballroom rentals for parties, special events, weddings, etc. She is the beautiful smiling face that will greet you at the door.
Justin Penney
Dance Instructor
Justin Penney has 10 years of dance experience. He brings a young fresh and energetic ambiance that is reflected in the many awards and titles won by his students. Justin's experience lends itself to those students who wish to excel in the social and competitive field.
Christy Mae
Dance Instructor
Christy Lyons has 10 years of Ballroom experience and is one of the most experienced and effective teachers in our Studio. She excels in group instruction, handling classes as large as 50 people with an easy command that has every student learning and having fun. She enjoys preparing her students for competitions or special events and is an excellent choreographer.
